The Importance of Goals Setting, Pizza Shop Analogy.

If you don't know where you are going, any old road will take you there... Sound familiar?

You have probably heard this expression or sayings similar throughout your whole life. That is because within these simple words is a MASSIVE message! It is the base of all achievement and without mastering the wisdom contained within these words, having success in your life will be almost IMPOSSIBLE. So what does it really mean?

Consider this...

You are the boss of a pizza shop... You have two delivery drivers who work for you, their names are Subconscious mind and The Universe, they are conjoined twins. (Try to stick with me) The pizza's you sell in your shop actually represent you on your journey through life and the delivery address's are your dreams and goals... Imagine the following scenario.

You - "Hey Universe and Subconscious, Go deliver this pizza"

Universe and Subconscious - "Sure boss, where to?"

You - "I haven't thought about it and don't have time for stupid questions, just deliver it!"

Universe and Subconscious - " If you tell me where it needs to go, I will go and do it"

You - "What did I just say?, Go out that door and deliver the pizza or you are fired!"

Universe and Subconscious - "..."

So Universe and Subconscious go out the door, have no idea where they are going so walk aimlessly around until the pizza goes cold. The pizza i.e "your journey through life" is now worthless and meaningless as nobody likes cold pizza.

Had you the boss given Universe and Subconscious clear instructions as to where the pizza was meant to go i.e "Your Goal", they would have figured out the rest and delivered the pizza. Your only job as the boss is to tell your little employee's where to deliver your tasty pizzas and they are smart enough to find the way themselves.

Hopefully you are not utterly confused at this point in time. But the meaning of this story is that without a clear goal, you cant even start. If you never start, well... the rest is pretty obvious, you'll go nowhere.

By taking the time to set clear and precise goals you will be preparing the Universe and your subconscious to find ways to achieve them. They are the two hardest working employees you will ever have working for you, no task is ever too big, too hard or impossible. They work 24/7 and never take time off. All they ask is for you to feed them good positive thoughts and believe in their abilities to achieve what ever it is you want them to.

If however you feed them negative, don't believe they can get the job done and don't have a goal for them to chase... they will get bored and confused and end up trashing your pizza store, stealing money from the till and creating nothing but negative in your life.

So set goals, think positive thoughts and believe that the universe and your subconscious will find the way, they are experts.

Make the Time to "Take Time"

Do you ever feel guilty if you stop to take a break?

I know I use to, and sometimes still do. One of the hardest lessons I have had to learn is that sometimes you need to STOP! This may sound like an easy thing to do for some people, but for others it is the single hardest thing you will have to master in order to be successful.

When you have got the drive, the ambition, the dreams and the willingness to do whatever it takes to achieve what you have set out to do, you will understand exactly where I am coming from. It is important to work hard, but it is just as important to work at your best and in the right state of mind. This is impossible to do if you do not take some time to RELAX! Let me give you some tips on how you can feel better about taking TIME OUT.

1. The best way to make yourself feel GOOD about taking time out to relax is to PLAN it into your calendar as a necessary task. Understand that it is a vital step for you to perform at your best and achieve your goals.

2. Plan for something that is relaxing and won't stress you out more. If you plan to watch a movie, pick a comedy or something a little bit chilled out, a horror/action packed/adrenaline pumping moving probably won't help you much. PIck an activity that you feel is relaxing, but will help you towards your goals, a great example would be reading a personal development book. Some other great idea's are going for a walk (health and fitness is very important), listening to some music (preferably not death metal etc.) or just playing with a pet.

3. Dedicate a specific amount of time to your relaxation activity. A good ball park would be 30mins to 1hr every day and one whole day on the weekend. By setting a time limit and sticking to it you will get a feeling of accomplishment that you have done what you PLANNED to do. This means you won't feel bad about doing it because it is all part of the bigger picture.

4. Try to clear your mind from whatever tasks or goals you have planned for the rest of the day and really enjoy the REST time you have. Your mind and body need recovery time! They will reward you for this with better performance and clarity when you get back "on the job".

So make the time to "take time" and enjoy it without feeling bad, lazy or unaccomplished. It is one of the most important keys to success. You will be better prepared to approach your tasks, have a clearer more open mind and a new energy that will help you power through your day. So apply the art of REST now! Go sit and just think for a while, let your heart rate drop and the stress subside. Go read a good book or go for a walk. Go pat your dog, cat, bird, fish...well maybe not your fish and RELAX for a while. Do it NOW I dare you and guarantee you will feel better afterwards.

Apply these tips to your daily routine and watch your productivity soar.

How to Be a Millionaire Before 25!: Self Hypnosis

How to Be a Millionaire Before 25!: Self Hypnosis: "You are getting sleeeeepy, very, very sleeeeeepy... This is probably what most people think of as soon as I mention the word, 'Hypnosis'. B..."

Self Hypnosis

You are getting sleeeeepy, very, very sleeeeeepy...

This is probably what most people think of as soon as I mention the word, "Hypnosis". Before I actually took the time to learn how it works and the massive benefits it can have on someones life, I was a bit skeptical too. So please read on...

A very close friend of mine is student of psychology and hypnosis. Over recent discussions he had tweaked my interest on how hypnosis can be used as an affective performance improving technique. As you all know I have fairly ambitious goals so any improvement in my performance would be highly advantageous. So I proposed that he teach me the basics of self hypnosis and how to apply it to my everyday life.

We spent a good couple of hours going through the process and discussing how well the technique can work if applied correctly. Now there is no way I could repeat all the information and ideas we threw around but I will attempt to give you a basic idea and description of how you could apply the concept in you own way.

1. Have a clear and concise affirmation written describing your goal. Include a time frame, how it will be measured, all the specifics and most importantly... how you will FEEL when you achieve this goal. Phase it in present tense and make it as REAL as possible.

2. Find a quiet comfortable spot where you can clear your mind from distractions. Relax as much as possible and start to think positive thoughts about your goals.

3. Consciously relax parts of your body, feel your right arm relax and droop, you may want to relax you back, head, legs or all of the above, just pick a body part or two and THINK about relaxing them. This should help clear your mind from other unwanted distractions and get you "in the zone".

4. When you are feeling nice and relaxed, repeat your specific affirmation and try to live in the picture you build in your mind. Imagine it to be as real as you possibly can, try to FEEL the EMOTIONS that you would feel if you were in that situation. Repeat you affirmation a couple of times, building the feelings and making them more real each time you repeat yourself.

5. Let your mind drift, let your subconscious create more positive pictures and images, don't resist, just enjoy the ride and live in the moment. This should be an enjoyable experience. You are preparing yourself to live the life you are imagining, therefore it will be attracted to you.

6. When you feel that you have lost your train of thought or lose clarity in your mind (this could be 5 - 15mins) slowly start moving your arms and stretching, allow yourself to "wake up" in your own time, do not rush.

7. Affirm to yourself that by doing that exercise you are taking a necessary step in achieve your goals and you are now one step closer to achieving them.

8. Go about your day with a highly improved attitude, passion and drive to go get what ever you want out of life.

Use this technique at the start of your day to kick start it, and also just before you go to bed to encourage pleasant dreams. You will find that by having this "imagination time" it will better prepare you for the journey you will have to go through in order to achieve your goals. The more you do it, the more your subconscious EXPECTS this to become a reality. As someone much wiser than me once said "You don't get what you WANT in life... You get what you EXPECT".

I hope that this has been insightful and you will be able to apply this to your own daily routine.

See you at the top.

Over Coming Challenges

We all come across challenges in our lives, it is how we handle them that will ultimately determines our success or otherwise.

Today I was faced with a challenge that potentially could have ruined my whole day. This is an occurrence that is probably not uncommon in your own life? You know those days you tell yourself you just should never have got out of bed, that is the feeling I am talking about. It only takes one challenge early in the morning to ruin most people's moods for the whole day.

Here are some great tips to help you get through those challenging moments in your life that I have applied to my own life with great success.

Firstly, try to see the situation from a third persons point of view. When you are caught up in the emotion of the moment you can say or do things that you will regret and will not be able to take back. So take a step back and try to assess the situation from the outside looking in.

Secondly, BREATH, count to 10 (slowly) controlling your breathing the whole time. Yes I know we are all taught to do this from a young age... but how many people actually do... probably not many. Make a conscious effort to BREATH.

Thirdly, know what you are feeling. Realise that you are angry, sad, frustrated etc. Realise that this is only a temporary feeling and that in that state of mind you will not make well thought our decisions. Avoid making any important decision while in an emotional state of mind. You will regret it if you do.

Fourthly, do something that makes you feel happy or relaxed, this will be different for everyone, it may be a particular song you love, a quick walk, meditating, writing in a diary etc. Whatever that is for you, take the time to do it and come back down to earth.

Lastly, CHEER UP SUNSHINE!!! Life is to short to have enemies, be resentful, hold a grudge, be angry, sad, frustrated or anything other than happy and thankful to be alive. The world is a huge place full of wonderful things to do, see and experience. The more time you spend in a positive state of mind, the more positive things you will attract into your life.

Keep these things in mind next time you are about to "Snap" and you will always make the right decisions and keep relationships, both professional and personal in tact.

See you at the Top!

How to Find an Opportunity the Suits YOU!

Looking for the right opportunity for you?

Now that you all know a little bit about myself, I though I would offer everyone some USEFUL information. There are a lot of opportunities out there and it can be quite overwhelming to find out which one's are firstly...legitimate and secondly the right ones for you.

Before deciding or even looking for an opportunity to create an income, more time or whatever it is you want, there are a few things you should get clear in your own mind. Firstly, what are you good at? Talking with people, phone calls, internet marketing, maths, programming, selling, mentoring, writing, building relationships etc etc.

Secondly, what do you want achieve? There is a big difference for someone looking to make an extra $300 per week to get through collage and someone who wants to crate a massive ongoing income to become financially independent. Know what you need an opportunity to return for you.

Thirdly, how much time do you have to dedicate to an opportunity? Are you willing to work for an hour or so everyday, or are you willing to put everything on the line and jump into something full time?

Fourthly, how much responsibility do you want to have? This will determine weather you should start your own company or join one that is already set up. By starting you own you will have all the responsibilities, good and bad. By joining one that is already set up, the pressure is off to a certain degree.

Lastly, what kind of investment are you willing to make? If you want something with a minimal investment you will probably have to link into a business already set up. Don't get my wrong, you can still accomplish HUGE things working with a company already set up, in fact it is the safest and easiest way to go. By starting your own company there are a lot of costs involved, you will need to seek expert help and set things up to protect yourself. This takes a lot of time, money and patients... but what you will learn along the way will be priceless.

So answer these questions to yourself before searching out an opportunity, and always remember... your income will never exceed your personal growth. Keep improving yourself and you are bound to succeeded in whatever you choose to do.

See you at the top...

Why I want to be a Multi-Millionaire before 25!

Why do I want to be a Multi-Millionaire before 25?

You may think to yourself thats a pretty ambitious goal... I mean how many people actually become a self made multi-millionaire within a life time, let alone before they turn 25? Probably not many...

I have always grown up wanting more out of life, I am not sure why, it's just the way I have always been. My desire of becoming financially independent was really boosted at the age of 15 after reading Rich Dad Poor Dad. Since that point in my life I have always looked for ways to develop passive income... and tested a few ideas as well.

Along the way I have met great people and learned more than I ever could have hoped, my advice to anyone thinking of improving their life is to start anywhere and start now. If I had waited for the perfect moment to start my journey, I still wouldn't have taken the first step and I would have non of the experience, knowledge or contacts I do today.

So WHY a multi-millionaire and WHY before 25 years of age? Well.... Why Not?

We live in a day and age where there are an abundance of opportunities and ways to create wealth, the hard part is to pick the right one for you. The only way you will ever know if something is for you or not, is to try it. You can never compare the success or otherwise of someone else to what you are able to achieve. Find something you feel comfortable with and give it a shot! Provided it has a low start up cost, you really have nothing to lose... but everything to gain.

I encourage anyone who is interested in achieving great things in their life to surround yourself with like minded people and find yourself a mentor who has walked the walk, not just talks the talk.

Please leave your comments, suggestions or personal goals in the comment section below. I am always keen for a chat.

Learning About Online Marketing

This is my very first Blog!

I have just spend the last month reading about the different ways to market myself online as an expert in my field. I have found the vast amount of information available a bit overwhelming as I guess most people would. After my research it was pretty obvious I needed to start a blog...

The internet is such a great tool and I think it is extremely important as a business owner in the "information age" to learn how to use it to my advantage. After this initial blog I have what seems like an endless list of tasks to complete the intricate web that is the internet. Everything seems like it links back to itself some how and the techniques to make it all happen are endless. So I guess I just have to take the first steps and slowly learn how it is all put together along the way. It will be an interesting journey.

The ongoing point of this blog is to track my journey in becoming a multi-millionaire before the tender age of 25 and relay helpful information to my "followers" who may have similar goals in life. I guess this is enough information for now until I "re-blog" which I guess I am meant to do tomorrow? As I said, this is all new to me so any helpful hints or feedback you have would be greatly appreciated.
